Another session with Dr. Mince.
I told him about after leaving Mocha Daze, I was in a state of shock.
Why would Steve do that to my art work? He'd already dumped me. Why did he have to do this?
I drove over to Eric and Drew's place to see if I had left any canvases in the guest house.
When Donna and I pulled up to the house, I saw Drew's car still parked in the driveway.
He should've been at work. What was he doing home at this hour?
We went up to the door and knocked.
Drew answered.
He looked like he'd been hit by a bus.
He let the both of us in and started telling us about what had happened.
About his being attacked by Mark and fighting him off.
After he finished telling us about all of that, he asked who Donna was.
Before I got a chance to tell him, Donna introduced herself as my date for the afternoon.
Drew looked at her. Then at me. Then back at Donna. And then busted out with laughter.
It made me laugh just watching him.
He'd chuckle, then clutch his side in pain. Chuckle some more, which would make his side really begin to ache.
It was something like, "ha ouch you and her ha owe ha."

I sat on my bed thinking about what Dr. Mince had told me during our session.
He said that I should really take a good hard look at my old lifestyle.
That what had happened to Drew and I was the normal behavior for homosexuals. That all Steve and Mark were interested in was pleasure of the flesh-- and they didn't care who they had to hurt to get it. Steve busted up my paintings to get back at me. He probably would have forced himself onto me there in the trash had Donna not been there. We'd have been like two pigs in a sty going at it in the filth. For I would have willingly joined in, just like I'd done before.
I told him I wouldn't have.
Dr. Mince put his hand on my thigh and told me that I would have, because, I was still weak. But, he'd help me find peace.
The alarm went off.
He rubbed my thigh and told me we'd work more next week.
