A love limerick by H. Ciccarelli, 3d Grade

THERE ONCE WAS A HEART NAMED O'LONELY
WHO YEARNED FOR A LOVE OF HIS ONLY
HE SEARCHED AND HE SOUGHT, HE SHOPPED AND HE BOUGHT,
BUT THE BOYS COULDN'T COMPARE TO CANOLI!

Okay, I'm a columnist, not a poet. And I'm certainly not Irish. But Valentine's Day is coming up, and if you're not in the mood to massacre your loved ones, you'll want to let them know just how much you love them!!!!!!

AND SO, I got down on my knees and begged my editors for a special column just for you.

If you have a message or poem for someone special in your life, and you want to make it public, send it to ME! Modern technology is such a wonderful thing. E-MAIL your message to me here at the paper, and next week, on "The Day," I'll have a special column where we'll post as many of your messages as can fit in my space !!!

Kisses and hugs.

H.
