We're brushing teeth, washing faces, flossing. I catch a glimpse of Andrew's perfect butt in the mirror and get hungry. All right, I'm a little hornier than usual after the dinner with the Swimming Lawyer -- who wouldn't be? The guy still has an amazing body -- even under the J. Crew; but what's the difference between getting hot and bothered by a porn video and getting hot and bothered by Andrew's ex?
"But heāll never be as great as my present boyfriend," Andrew pinches my left nipple and then goes back to the bathroom.
I call out, "Hey, get back in here and pinch the other one."
"I think he's still in love with you, Andrew."
He's still in love with Drew. I know it. I can feel it coming off him like heat in the desert. But, and I can't believe I'm feeling this, it's okay. Who wouldn't be in love with Andrew McKinley -- God, he's the best guy in the world. I'm flattered. I find it sexy. I mean, Mark dumped my boyfriend and it was probably the biggest mistake he ever made. In a way, I have to thank Mark -- if they'd stayed together, Drew would never have asked me to dance at Rage, three years ago...
Andrew is holding me, trying to fall asleep...he mumbles, "Oh Eric, he is not still in love with me....youāre dreaming again."
But I wonder what his eyes might reveal. Am I imagining that his whole body just got a little rigid? If I could see his face from here, would his eyes be open with hope, or closed?
And speaking of rigid...I'm in need of some relief -- BIG TIME. Let's just spoon a little and see if he gets the --
"Eric! There's a big stick in our bed."
"Andrew, salmon was amazing. You really outdid yourself."
Andrew giggles. Then wiggles. I spear him. Like spearing salmon.
