That's the sound these butts would be making if they could make noise when they passed us.

We were POOLSIDE IN PALM SPRINGS! And it was amazing!!!

God, you could either get an instant inferiority complex or an instant erection in P. S. -- Eric and I chose "B" and kept our towels strategically placed on our laps while we watched a "smorgasbord of musculature" pass by. It was like the Mr. Universe Pageant -- it was like the Cake Walk of Men contest, it was amazing, amazing, amazing!

We're not hard liquor drinkers but what the hell, we thought and started on Pina Coladas. Pineapple and coconut mixed with body oil and thongs and white spa towels, chlorine water and lip balm, hairless, shaved bodies and Speedos -- tapas were going around on platters, spanish appetizers to those that didn't know what tapas were. Men on men on men.

Amazing.

Eric leaned over, kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear, "They're gorgeous but not a tenth as great as you, Andrew." We kissed.

For an hour, we kissed. I'd forgotten what a pleasure it was to display affection with your lover in public. Especially in a setting where it was OKAY to kiss the person you loved more than anyone on the planet. We kissed. We broke it after minutes of tongue and mouth, lips and teeth...

And got applause.

We blushed, a guy walked by and chirped, "You give us all hope, sweeties."

We ordered another round of Pina Coladas.

"Eric! Andrew!"

We both recognized the voice.... Mark Fitzgerald.

I'd been far too long at the bar, waiting in a sea of men, knee-deep for the drinks. When I got back to the lounge chairs, I couldn't find Eric or Mark. I stood there with the drinks, including Mark's beer. Two great looking guys had taken their place -- these Swedes. I mean, literally Swedes had taken the lounge chairs.

They spoke their native language. I smiled, "Did you see where the two guys went? The two men that were here -- two -- men -- dark-haired, they were... oh forget it. Want a drink?"

"Ya"

"Ya," they said and I handed them the spare drinks and sat down. We started talking -- they were really nice, but I couldn't understand a word they said.

Where the hell were Eric and Mark??
